I am the coordinator of the RCIA process at St. Clement of Rome Church in Metairie. We are talking with the catechumens and candidates about “Faith”, what it means, how they can become open to this great gift and what keeps us from receiving it. Basic to faith is to come in touch with our neediness. Your father’s story as told in your song, “Surrender” is a living “parable” as Jesus would have told it. Your music touches the soul! I would like to use this tomorrow night if possible (Wednesday Sept 6) and would like to give them the words written and the story before hearing you sing, then lead them into reflection and prayer.
