Hello Kitty and friends, I went to my first Marian Conference this past weekend in Scottsdale, AZ, and wow… what a wonderful experience it was for everyone there. I’ve grown in a deeper love for Mary, thanks be to God! I wanted to thank Kitty for coming to St.Timothy’s (where LifeTeen started) after the conference, but especially thank Our Blessed Mother for opening the door to have Kitty sing for us at the 6 pm LifeTeen Mass. Msgr. Dale was quite surprised! I’m sorry Mel wasn’t able to attend. Kitty, when you sang Saturday evening for us, it was as though Our Blessed Mother was singing to us. Hi Kitty! Saw you and your husband at the Marian Conference in Scottsdale, AZ… then my husband and son were at the St. Timothy’s Teen Mass and saw you there … I stayed home to watch our other 3 boys … We love your music … we also notice (and love) the cello in your music too … our teenage son has been playing the cello for 5 years now … Thanks for being at both events! You and your family are a blessing to sooo many and that includes us! Don’t think me crazy, but we just picked up the latest Veggie Tale video “Little Joe” based on Joseph and Coat … it’s to teach kids about hardship … all I could think about was your Dad … at how both he and Joseph both suffered sooo much without fault of their own, but God turns these things around for good! What a beautiful experience to hear your extraordinary gift of song and spirit. You are an inspiration. I just visited to your website and will order Sacred Arias. I hope you appear more often on EWTN. I just started with the DISH network, so that I might have EWTN 24 hours – 7 days a week. Dear Ms. Cleveland, I want to thank you for making my mother’s last hours more peaceful. She was a devout Catholic who volunteered at St. Joseph Abbey (both she and my father are buried there), where she purchased a copy of your Surrender CD. Mom was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer last October, a battle she lost in July. During her final hours with us, as she lay in a coma at the home we shared, my sister and I played your Surrender CD for her. Her breathing immediately became more peaceful, and I know she could see the glory you sang of. I really enjoyed listening to and praying the new Mysteries of Light – especially being outside with the sun shining down upon us! I was deeply moved by Kitty Cleveland’s performance on Backstage last night. The quality of her voice is rich and angelic. Her phrasing was prayerful, sincere and conversational. Her witness and her dialogue regarding the importance of Eucharist in her life was very comforting and inspiring. The Light of the Christ radiated from her at every moment during her presentation. God has given her such a beautiful gift and face. I am a singer myself and not moved by many. I purchased all of her work online and would actually love to meet her someday…

By the way you may know this, but I am going to write in just in case you are not aware. St. Gerard Majellian (whom I am named for) is the patron saint of expectant mothers. St. Gerard was also a Redemptorist priest, like Blessed Father Seelos.
