I was given your Divine Mercy CD for Christmas by Diana Stieffel, a lady I went to Rome with 5 years ago (a group of us from St. Dominic visited Fr. Christopher Nalty too!) Diana had heard you talk at a Stuart Hall event and felt compelled to buy us all your CD – she was astonished to find out I had graduated from HS with you. Anyway, Laurie Gaudet sent this to me and I then forwarded it to my friends in prayer. You are truly an inspiration – a woman beyond our years!

When I heard of John Paul’s last words, I immediately thought that he was speaking to Jesus and our Lady, not the crowd that had gathered. So, when I heard your song, Kitty, I started to weep because you obviously envisoned the same. What a loving tribute to a loving Servant of the Servants of God!

Blessings of peace, Kitty, It was a gift from God to listen to the song you wrote after our Holy Father’s death April 2. In song, you expressed so well what we feel in our hearts for our Shepherd, a man so close to the Heart of God. Thank you for taking up so quickly this inspiration that came to you last Saturday. Be filled with an abundance of peace from above. (I am the Provincial of the Little Sisters of the Poor who met you during your overnight stay at our home in Cincinnati in early March!) God bless!
