Dear Kitty, Thank you so much for taking the time to contact me. I LOVE your voice! As a singer myself I’m always looking for music to sing at church. Your song “Now You Come To Me” has so touched my heart. If you ever do publish this song in sheet music form I’ll be your first customer. Thank you for blessing my life with your music.

Dear Kitty, I just wanted to thank you for saying “YES” to God’s call… no matter how long it took! 😉 I’ve listened to your testimony on your Divine Mercy CD so many times, I could almost recite it myself. Your music ministry is having a profound effect on those of us you’ve already reached. The Divine Mercy chaplet has a very special place in my heart and praying it with your CD is so uplifting. I hope to see you at St. Joseph’s in April. Thanks!

Hello Kitty — I am so glad to hear from you. I think of you every day and am so thankful to have been touched by your music. When my head is so busy I pop in your CD and know that I’m safe and peaceful. You have touched my very soul — I look forward to meeting you face to face. I’m ordering your CDs now. Love and prayers —

I heard you sing at Amie Hubbell’s wedding last weekend and was blown away by your gorgeous voice! I comented about it to Kathy Hubbell, and she quickly gave me your website (off the top of her head!) Also talked to Lauren Lagarde about you and she convinced me that I need ALL of your CD’s!

discovered you last week researching which version of Ave Maria to buy from iTunes (guess who won!). Everytime I come to your site I read something else that brings me to the edge of blubbering (and I’m a 45 year old guy!). You got to my soft spot, that’s for sure. I am the leader of my parish’s RCIA team and am currently finishing off Spirit & Fire, a collection of Origen’s writings compiled by Hans Urs Von Balthasar. Point being, I’m prone to meditating on our Lord and you’re a classic (& classy) example of how he works in our lives if we let him. Up this alley, I’ve also been meditating on the Divine Mercy chaplet, new for me, which I see parallels in with regard to how our Lord [has operated in your life and mine]…

Hi Kitty – I don’t know if you remember me – I met you in Pheonix at the Unity Award show. It was my first experience with the ucmva and I went with Dave Wang who sings for Critical Mass – the band I play in as well. I was the dopy guy with spiked hair from Canada! (LOL) I just wanted to let you know that the song “Now You Come to Me” was playing on your myspace site and my daughter was totally thrilled with the song. Her name is Anastasia and she is 6 years old – she has been taking singing lessons for almost a year now (bel canto) and she wants to sing that song as one of her songs for this year. After hearing it for the first time she said, “Wow – what a beautiful lady to sing such an awesome song!” Anyhow, she was totally taken with it and she sings it often; I just thought I would let you know.

Kitty, on a trip to Lake Tahoe last month, my husband and I visited the little St. Mary’s in the Mountains Catholic Church in Virginia City, NV, and your “Sacred Arias” CD was playing in the sanctuary. We were captivated, bought it there and played it in the car all the way back to our hotel. Occasionally we are fortunate enough to find a new [to us] artist whom we both really like, and in your case, we decided that God gives us a few people with voices like yours as a taste of what it will be like in heaven. We are 60 years old – I play piano, and my husband took up the clarinet about five years ago so we could play together. He took the CD to his teacher and played your Gounod “Ave Maria” for him, and the old gentleman (who is very large physically and has spent his life playing saxophone and clarinet in dance bands and teaching) just sat there listening quietly with tears in his eyes. This is probably more explanation than you really wanted, but we have played the CD over and over, and just don’t tire of listening to it. One of the joys of such a discovery is sharing with friends who love music as we do, and I will be ordering at least eight more of the “Arias” CDs as Christmas gifts for these friends. I would like to know if you ever do tours and/or will have any appearances in or around Georgia. If you have a promotion email list, I’d certainly like to be added to it. We are very grateful that you chose to leave your other “careers” in pursuit of your musical calling!

Dear Kitty, Your biggest fan (my son Max, as you have been made aware) and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to watch you live on the telethon over the Internet. You were wonderful. Max *told* me that I had to let you know that you were great, as usual (as if he sees you live on a regular basis), and–get this–that you have no wrinkles. There were a number of closeup shots, and he’s very observant. 😉 His only disappointment was that you did not sing “the bongo song.” That’s what he calls “Psalm of Mercy,” which is one of his favorites. When I told him that you had mentioned in your newsletter that you had rerecorded the song with an acoustic guitar, he said, “What a travesty! It’s so perfect the way it is!” Yes, he uses words like “travesty.” We are praying for safe travel for you and that everything regarding your Scotland project will come together as it should. We are selfishly looking forward to your concert in December. It is December 8, right? When I got to thinking about spending the money on our trip, we could have just donated that money to you for your CD and skipped the trip. It seems selfish of us. The kids are so thrilled about going to your concert, though, it would be difficult to disappoint them at this point. They are truly not spoiled materially, and we never go on family vacations. This will be the first major trip we’ve taken as a family (other than to San Diego for a funeral) since we went to Russia to pick up Max and then I went to China for Hannah. We were too broke to go anywhere for a while (and really, neither trip for our children were what one could call “vacations.”) I hope God has met all your financial needs for the Scotland trip and recording. Do know that we are praying for you and will continue to do so. Please continue to let us know of any prayer intentions.

Kitty, It was a pleasure being with you and your daughter Monday evening! You performed beautifully and proved to be a true professional in your demeanor (even amidst uncertainty and disruption) and performance. I’ve heard nothing but positive feedback, and I was blown away by the two $3,500 private concerts you donated(that’s $7,000 for the seminary!!!, Praise God!!!). Please consider next year for we are already planning for another event. The sponsorships have easily doubled and the support is tremendous. Father Patrick said, “everything said and done I wouldn’t change a thing…â€. Obviously, we (my staff and I) have many lessons learned; however, our Heavenly Mother was with us and God’s Grace covered us (even in the dark of the night).

Dear Kitty, I’m so grateful to God for leading me to your music. It has been an unbeleivable inspiration for me. I can hardly wait to order more of your CD’s. Thank you for answering God’s call. Your testimony was so helpful and your music such a gift to me! May God continue to bless you on your journey.

Hi Kitty, I’ve been meaning to let you know that one of my favorite songs on the “Be not Afraid” CD is Now You Come To Me. And I would have not known that you wrote that song for the Pope (John Paul II) unless I was at the St. Peter and Paul concert in Pearl River. Thank you so much for everything you do, your voice is like an angel and my son still tells people how he (Bruce) saw you sing live. That was his first ever concert, how wonderful that you were the performer (and one for God to add to that). Anyway the reason I’m emailing you is that my husband (Grant) created a website for the Slidell Catholic Community and eventually maybe it will become St. Tammany Parish and so forth. I know people really missed seeing you at St. Peter and Paul because they told me they didn’t know about it. This way, we can spread what is going on at each church to the whole community: www.catholiccommunitycalendar.com Let me know what you think and God Bless. I can’t wait for your new CD!

Dear Kitty, Thank you for your prompt service! I found you through the Catholic Music Network website while I was searching for a song relating to the sacraments. I am so excited to get your CDs! You have a beautiful voice and even my 16 year old daughter is asking about you!!

Hi Kitty, Thanks for last night at Our Lady of Consolation. Hope you’re having a safe journey home to the States. I thouroughly enjoyed your concert. Having only arrived home from holiday yesterday morning at 6.30, I was a little tired, but definitely inspired by your music and story. THANK YOU. I was going to invite you up to our convent chapel for a few minutes before the Blessed Sacrament, and hung in our oratory is a lovely picture of the Divine Mercy – Jesus I trust in You, but realized you had someone with you who was going to take you home. Thanks once again for a very special night.

Kitty Cat: Hope your trip to Scotland was productive and wonderful for you, your mom, and Ceci. You’ll love this–I was in my Thurs a.m. Women’s Spirtuality class at Mary Queen of Peace and Sr. Marina played your song from one of your CD’s that refers to St Teresa’s saying about peace in difficult times [God Alone Is Enough]. She held up the CD and said for everyone to go buy one for their cars as they rode around (to make them feel calm despite life’s little/big aggravations). She said you were a great inspiration to her (or something good like that). You can’t wish for better advertising than that….just wanted to pass that along.

OK…so where do I get the sheet music for Now You Come to Me…..???? I can’t believe that I have had this Be Not Afraid masterpiece in my possession for who knows how long and did not listen to it till this afternoon. Of course NOW I have Now You Come to Me on ‘repeat’….I am utterly speechless…

Dear Kitty, I did pray for you, as you asked, and was so thrilled to see you live on the Boston Catholic TV telethon. I asked God’s holy archangels, Sts. Michael, Gabriel and Raphael to be with you and surround you with protection, God’s peace and love. You are so gifted, dear heart, with an exquisite voice to sing for the praise and glory of God. You bring such joy! Thank you for using your gifts for the Lord. I had to say a “Glory Be…” to the Lord for your holy guardian angel for leading you so well on your life’s journey to the heart of God. Thank you for the e-mail for prayer, because I would not have had such joy in my heart today if I hadn’t watched that telethon!

I purchased your “Be Not Afraid” CD. It was very inspirational to me while my husband was in the hospital (4 times since December 2006). I fell asleep many nights to your wonderful songs…I generaly fall asleep before On Eagles Wings comes on. [I play the CD] for my husband while he is in the hospital at Tulane in N.O. (he’s having a bone marrow transplant for Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma next month). He has had 2 remissions in 6 years–he is now in remission–and they are going to do a bone marrow transplant with his own marrow. I was given your Surrender tape several years ago by Robin Sakla for Christmas and then she gave me your Arias CD and your O Holy Night. I bought the Be Not Afraid myself, and my husband plays it every day. Congratulations on a wonderful CD. It is very comforting. Please keep my husband in your prayers. His name is Anthony Scamardo. Thanks again for your beautiful music.
