Kitty, What a wonderful and blessed event the Magnificat Breakfast was this morning. God has given you such a gift of voice and a gift for relaying His love for you and for all of us. I am so touched by your testimony and your faith. You are an instrument of God and through your gifts you bring many others to the love and mercy God has for us. You spoke about your father and how fun-loving he was and how he lit up a room when entering it. I cannot help but think that you actually were describing yourself. That is what happens when you begin to talk. May God continue to bless you and your family and your ministry. Thank you again for a truly beautiful testimony. God Bless, Tricia

Kitty, A few years ago (before Katrina and Rita), I read an article about you in Faith and Family. I thought that you were the same Kitty Cleveland that I had gone to LSU law school with and intended to contact you. However, after the storms, I misplaced the magazine when we had to move everything out of our house. Nevertheless, I recently came across your testimonial CD at church and picked it up. After listening to it, I was very moved by your story and your faith. I am currently involved with Magnificat in Lake Charles, and have given your CD to them to listen to. We are currently in prayer about planning an event such as a conference for 2009. I would very much like to get some information from you about the possibility of your being involved in that event. I notice that you book such things through CMG, and I will check with them. However, since we are just in the preliminary stages of our planning, it would be too early to confirm anything. If you have time, I would appreciate your e-mailing me a little information. I am so glad that you have found a vocation that satisfies your soul. May God continue to bless you! Peace and prayers, Staci

Dear Kitty, Thank you so much for being our speaker for our Good Friday Prayer Breakfast! I know that because of you, it was a sell out for the first time ever! You are a beautiful soul that radiates the Holy Spirit! Your testamony was beautiful, full of love and grace. Nobody left disappointed. I know your dad was smiling down on all of us that day. I pray that you will touch many hearts in the years to come and that I will have the opportunity to see you again. Everone that came to the breakfast feels the same and they love listening to your CD’s. Thank you again for bring your lovely family out west. You are welcome here anytime!!! Dear Kitty, WOW, what a treat last Sunday!! As our priest read the Gospel (Luke 24: 13-35), my daughter Nicole, kept tapping me as he read. Finally, I turned to her and was about to give her a disappointed look….but before I could, she excitedly said “THIS IS THE READING FROM KITTY’S SONG…”THE BREAKING OF THE BREAD” THAT SHE SANG ON EASTER!!!!” I replayed the song in my head and sure enough we were reminded of your beautiful voice and the wonderful visit to our parish. Kitty, thank you again for the being our speaker at the Good Friday Prayer Breakfast we hosted. You were the perfect speaker and guest! Our parish has had nothing but glowing words of praise from all who attended. Your testimony was given with such love and grace that it draws people in. I know that in times of doubt or pain, people will remember your words and they will be a help to them! God bless you and your beautiful family! Cathy

Kitty: My parents in New Orleans, Jane and Paul Nalty, turned me on to your music. After hearing the new CD, weeping throughout, as all of your songs touch me deeply, I decided to order some for my friends here in Nashville! I cannot tell you how the “Eye of the Storm” touched me…In any event, your voice is tremendous, the words to all of the songs are wonderful, and my parents sent me two copies (each parent not knowing that the other was giving it to me because my all time favorite song is “Be Not Afraid”)! I am going to spread the news of your voice to this community, because this community does appreciate that quality. Thank you, and please let me know if you are back in Nashville. I would like to thank you in person for giving me and my family numerous hours of wonderful music. We would love to get together with you! Your name was placed in our “Blessings Jar,” as we are so very grateful for giving us hours of wonderfully, comforting, and truly spectacular music.

I misplaced my Rosary CD and loaned one of my other CDs out that was never returned (as long as they are playing it, I do not mind). I went to Mule’s on David Drive to purchase another Rosary CD but they did not have any. So I purchased the Divine Mercy CD – that is the one God wanted me to have. OH MY!! I CAN’T STOP LISTENING TO IT. It is absolutely one of the most inspirational messages I have ever heard. I made sure that my sister and my niece heard it — your story is so awesome!! I feel like you have played an important role in my life – no doubt God’s plan. Thank you. Your daughter is absolutely gorgeous!!

Dear Kitty, I thank God for you and the beautiful gift of song that he has given you. May he reward you for all the joy that you bring to others in this wonderful ministry. Pax Christi! Marie

Would like your latest CD, also the Surrender remake as well as the Christmas, but don’t want to use Paypal. Is it possible to send a check? I really appreciate “The Miracle of Divine Mercy.” As a Catholic of not quite 3 years, the music helps so much as well as being inspiring by itself. Your instrumentalists are amazing. I especially appreciate the creativity of the keyboards. You are so blessed!

Thank you for your inspiration at OLL’s 12:00 Mass. This was the first time I had the opportunity to hear you sing. God bless you!

From December) Congratulations, my friend! We are so proud of and for you. Your nominations and awards are symbolic of your God-given talent and your special appreciation of all He has done for us. Your father is no doubt very proud of you and I can assure you he is above eternal bliss when you perform and when you recognize and credit him for the part he played in your life, your gifts and your talents. One disappointment, however, was that of all the venues you have performed in they did not recognize that you have also performed at our kitchen table, back patio and in our den — and that our hearts and souls soared when you blessed us with your extraordinary talent. Again, we are so proud of you and we thank God for your talent and, most of all, for your friendship.

(From December) Kitty, The CDs arrived today and they are beautiful! Doug and I listened to O Holy Night tonight at supper. Your voice and talent are surely pleasing to the Lord. Please know that you have made a huge difference in my life.

(From December) Kitty, I am a friend of Colleen and Roy Ingraffia and a HUGE fan of yours. I am a parishoner at Holy Name of Jesus Church in New Orleans and got permission from Fr. Hawkins to put the following announcement in the bulletin. I hope that is ok. Your music is truly an inspiration to me. I THRIVE on the “Be Not Afraid” cd – play it in the car every day – you do so much good for so many people! Colleen and Roy are coming with me to Trinity on the 16th- we cannot wait!

Last spring, I had the great honor of participating in a Christ Renews His Parish Outreach Weekend in Madison, Indiana. One of the members of our outreach team was a wonderful woman of faith, with whom I had shared outreach weekends before. But, this was a special one, because it was her last. During our trip from Indianapolis to Madison, Indiana, Mary Theresa pulled out a CD with your music and witness on it. We alternately laughed and cried as we listened on the drive, and through Mary, I have enjoyed your music and message. It is interesting, my brother and his family live in Hammond, not far from Mandeville, and I have eaten at Nuvolare’s (that is probably not spelled correctly) in Mandeville. I’m getting off track. In April, Mary has hospitalized. She had experienced belly pain for a good while (and is very stubborn) and put off going to the Doctor, until they had to remove her gall bladder in a hurry one day. A few days later, after pathology revealed gall bladder cancer, she was back in the hospital having more extensive surgery. I visited her at that time, and she asked for our prayers for only one thing: that she would know how God wanted to use her during this time of illness, to know what His will is for her. I believe she knew already that this illness would take her life, and despite some very encouraging results to chemo in the summer, she died on Christmas Eve. I remarked to friends that it will not surprise me to learn some day that Christ wanted his faithful servant home with him on Christmas. And while she leaves a husband and two young children (her son is 11 and her daughter just had her First Communion this Spring – so she is about 7), I know that they will, in time, understand what a truly holy woman she was. I lost my Mom when I was almost 13 and, in time, I came to realize just how important her Catholic faith was to her. When I finally came to a fuller life in Christ myself, I was thankful for her faithfulness, her example, and I have no doubt about her fullness of life with Christ after her death. Please say a prayer for my friend, Mary Theresa Schwering, of Indianapolis. Perhaps the next time you have an opportunity to sing, “You Are Mine”, you will think of her. I know I do. Thank you for your beautiful music and witness.

(From December) Kitty, I can’t begin to tell you just how truly “awesome” your concert was. Though I got called out mid-way through, the children’s choir and you were fantastic. It was like heaven on earth. Already I heard a good number of people comment about how good it was after masses today. Thank you for using your gift! Thank you for using it for the Lord. Thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us. I too feel truly blessed. I could not help but think that I was truly wishing my mom and dad were present to experience it last night. I will invite them to hear you for the Lenten Adoration Service. Kitty, thank your husband as well. All went fantastic. I’m proud of you. In Christ, Fr. John

Hi Kitty, I just can’t wait until your new CD is finished and released. You just don’t know how much your music means to me!! I was struggling the other day with an issue and I have uploaded your CD’s to my ipod so that I have them all and I can listen to them anywhere. Well I was in the kitchen and I knew I just needed to listen to your Be Not Afraid CD, and listen to God Alone Is Enough, which you know is the 1st song. Well all of a sudden I hear the song again and I noticed that for some reason my ipod stored that song twice back to back. I’ve had this CD on my ipod for months and listened to it over and over, why did this happen? Anyway, I felt like “hey I think God is really wanting me to realize that He alone is really enough!!!!!” It really helped!! So Thank You. I also read about your tapes you are offering. I bring communion to two homebound ladies, I will ask them if they would be interested in the tapes and see if that would help them stay at peace. I was talking to Kelly Fambro about Mark Mallett coming in Arpil. She said that you are friends with him, too. He will be at St. Jane de Chantel April 13th and at Our Lady of Lourdes April 14th, doing an “Encounter with Jesus” I am trying to help organize this and help take care of the family~~as you know all together there will be 9 people and a RV!!!! Anyway, if you know of any churches that might want him to come or if maybe you could plan something together, I don’t know~~just a thought~~Lea Mallett says they still have openings April 15 and 16 for this area. Well, your little Ceci is so cute!!! May God Bless you and your family!!

Hi Kitty, We were listening to Glory Girls (radio program) as we were making our bookmarks for the Religious Ed Congress (it’s 2:01 am and I have to be up in 3 1/2 hours). “Now You Come to Me” came on. Corrine, who works for me, just stopped and listened…and was so moved. It is just outstanding, as you know–your gift from JPII himself! Why don’t you think of nominating it (by this Sunday march 2) for the Divine Mercy Theme on www.TopCatholicSongs.com. Good things have been happening all around us as a result of this effort. Please consider it. People need to know that song– anyone who hears it is blessed. Hope to see you soon. Any chance you’ll make it to CAM? Lynn ><>

Dear Kitty, Have been meaning to share with you the power of your music for Don in some of his last days. As your Miracle of Love Rosary CD played and prayed, Don turned toward the voices of his two friends. It was especially comforting to him I think, hearing the voice of his buddy, Fr. Robert. Every time I hear you sing the song your mom & sisters sang at your dad’s funeral (Press On), it seems that you are singing it for him again. Today, your powerful voice raised in prayerful song was deeply moving bringing all of us closer to God. Thank you, God bless! Kathy

I have never been so moved in saying the rosary until I heard your CD. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You have moved me to tears and all I want to do is sing when I am listening and saying the rosary – I want to break out in song with the music in the background. This is a work of miraculous art, and it should be spread worldwide. Kitty, may God continue to bless you in your wonderful ministry. I am truly blessed to have found my religion again after being away for so many sinful years. I am truly thankful for this CD that will allow me to say a daily rosary without fail. Like you said in your witnessing on your Divine Mercy CD, I am not disciplined to the prayer life and now I am learning to do so ~~ with wonderful results!

Kitty, Thanks so much for your newsletters that keep us up-to-date on your ministry. What a joy to see the Lord’s work being done. This year I was blessed to meet so many prayerful women in the Lord Teach Me to Pray sessions through Magnificat. Often we would listen to your beautiful tributes as a way to start. Praying for your continued good work and your family.
