Kitty: I would love to plan a drive down to first, hear you sing, then hopefully take you and hubby out to a grande dinner with Gran El. Wondering what you might suggest as far as upcoming events of yours? All the best, Billy

I attended the conference in New Orleans  last summer, and it was great!  When will your Sorrowful Mystery Rosary  tape be ready for the public?  I list to you almost day on my way to work.  I tell friends that I am on a retreat in my car when I listen to you.

May God bless you and your family.

Kitty, My name is Vicky, and I purchased your "Divine Mercy" CD a couple of weeks before Divine Mercy Sunday.  –It is AWESOME !!!  I love the songs, prayers, music, and your testimony.  I listen to it ALL THE TIME and sing the songs when I can't listen to it.

In fact, I was at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC and stood in front of a table where at least five Divine Mercy CD's were displayed.  I picked-up each one and read the back of it.  I had to have been reading them for about 15 minutes because the store personnel kept asking if they could help me.  Unfortunately, they did not know much about any of them.  I selected yours to purchase because of the song "I
Place My Trust in You" and because it included testimonies.  (By the way — my mother's side of the family is from Pensacola, Florida.  In fact my uncle knows of the place where your father suffered (unjustly)
for many years.  My other uncle was a firefighter and would service the place (check that everything was functional in case of a fire).  So I am SOOO happy that I selected your CD to purchase.  Thank you.

Kitty — I am involved in the Pro-Life movement and pray the rosary with others to end abortion. We meet on the fourth Saturday of each month and pray in front of an abortion clinic.  People of all ages attend.  It occurred to me that it would be neat if someone (i.e., "YOU") could write some songs and compose some Pro-Life announcements before each of the Mysteries so we could play it while we walk up and down the side-walk.

The current practice is for someone to read a paragraph before each Mystery and decade that ties-in some type of message to the Mystery and decade in which we dwell and pray.  For example, in the Luminous Mysteries there is the Institution of the Eucharist.  Perhaps something along the lines of how Christ offered his Body for our salvation and how we must do His Will with our bodies (poor example but something along this line). It is hard enough to find CDs that the Rosary is sung, recited, or played to music (which is why I was happy that you put one out and I have purchased it, as well).  By having a CD dedicated to Pro-Life and which includes the rosary would be awesome. We could play it and pray along with it in front of the clinic or even on our iPods during Adoration.  We could turn-up the volume rather than shout the prayers so everyone can hear
(especially the elders). I have noticed that the Planned Parenthood people are all young (teens-to-thirty-something).

Though I am in my 40's, people always mistaken me for being in my early 30's.  I have also noticed that the Planned Parenthood people are always watching ME.  I think it is because they expect only elderly people and mothers in strollers to protest.  I think that if you create songs and a CD, that it will so touch these Planned Parenthood people and possibly others (especially those who contemplate abortion).

Hoping the Holy Spirit will inspire and guide you, I remain,  (no pressure),

Respectfully,

Vicky T.

Dear Vicky, Thanks so much for your email!  God bless you for the work you are doing. As to the rosary CD, did you know that it is actually a pro-life rosary?  It opens with the lyrics: "Since before the world was made and time began, I've loved you; since before I formed you in your mother's womb, I've known you. Created out of love, consecrated from above.  Since before the world was made I've loved you." Let me know what you think!

God bless, Kitty

Kitty ! Oh my gosh !!!  No, I apologize I did NOT know this.  I have listened to it only once because I just ordered and received it.  I am addicted to your Divine Mercy CD — especially this time of year.  I LOVE it!!!! I have it coped to my iPod and listened to it at the Basilica during Divine Mercy Sunday (and between 3PM-4PM).  I listen to it at the Adoration Chapel, too.  I have copied the Rosary cd, too, but haven't listened to it on my iPod, yet.

Wow !!!  I cannot wait to propogate this great news to my friends and those with whom I pray !!!!  So, do you mind if we play it (aloud) while praying in front of the clinics ?  There was a 40-day Pro-Life
vigil/rosary and 415 babies were saved!  Thank you for the prompt response.

Also — your father is MY HERO !!!  I cry thinking of what he (and you and your family) went through.  I had a horrendous allegation made against me and after 2 1/2- 3 years, am just getting my clearance and character-credibility restored.  It is a long story but essentially I worked at the Pentagon and left 5 months before 9-11.  The nose of the plane hit the desk where I was to work (on the blue-prints) – but I had left.  My coworkers perished.  Years later an investigation was opened on me and all I could think of was when Jesus' agony in the garden, him being innocent but wrongfully charged (like your father).  On March 31st (of 2009) I had my appeal hearing and am awaiting a verdict from a government agency.  Your DM cd got me through this time.  — And Saint Faustina's vision of "Jesus, I trust in You," got me through the period prior to my finding your cd.

In the meantime, one of my clearances has been reinstated so things are going in my favor, now.  I think your father can go through ANYTHING.  He has been tested in Faith and purified like the saints – which means he is one. I continue keeping him and you and your family in my prayers.

God Bless, Vicky

Dear Kitty, I just read your dad’s story this morning in the book,  Amazing Grace for Those Who Suffer.  So many sentences and phrases he used were phrases I used as I struggled through a different, though similarly isolated 4 years of persecution.

p.53:  For days I was in a trance-like state.  Prayer was impossible for me.  Just breathing was difficult. The daily torments and dehumanization continued…my choices were either to despair or to surrender even more fully to God’s incomprehensible plan for me.”

p.56:  “…it is through suffering that we truly discover God.”

“p. 57:  “Without an intense boot camp of personal suffering, most of us are simply not ready for personal redemption and eternal union with Him.”

p.59:  “God’s grace is enough for us in all of life’s trials, for it is in accepting and embracing powerlessness that we become truly strong.”

I understood your dad’s description of living the Sorrowful Mysteries and his description of how the more severe the devastation, the more peace filled his soul.  I googled his name to write him a thank you note for his story and found that he had died.  Today’s spiritdaily.com has an article about how we build our houses in Heaven according to our deeds on earth.  Your dad has a very big mansion in Heaven.  He is an inspiration and a consolation for those who need confirmation that the persucutions we endure are God’s manifestations of His Mercy.  It is through suffering that we witness to Christ.  It is through suffering that we unite our crosses to His cross and take not only our own souls to Heaven, but other souls as well.

I am asking for your dad’s prayers now.  And what testimonies he left in his family!  God bless you and your family!

Katie

P.S.  I was persecuted for about 4 years  in both  divorce court and in Family& Chilrens’ Services  court, depositions given against me

by my entire living family.  My family formed an alliance  against me and for my ex, an abusive, suicidal, manic depressive Catholic medical doctor who was  addicted to prescription drugs and alcohol. My family and my ex opposed my raising and homeschooling

my children in the Catholic Faith.

Kitty–Someone gave us one of your rosary CD's, and I bought one for another friend.  We are very pro-life – at the end of life – and like to pray the Rosary in the car.  That’s mostly what we use it for.  We listened to your witness in the refectory one day…  liked it a lot and pray for your ministry.

Hi Kitty,

I just love your Be Not Afraid CD.  I originally ordered it for a retreat at our church.  Our speakers play a song at the end of their talks and this speaker wanted Be Not Afraid.  So, I googled Be Not Afraid and your website was one that came up.  I listened to different versions of the song and liked yours the best and so ordered the CD.

Once I got the CD, I listened to the whole CD and just loved it.  In fact, I used the Fragrance Prayer song after the talk I gave.  I already referenced Mother Teresa several times in my talk and so this song was absolutely perfect.  At the end of the retreat, I gave the CD to the speaker who used Be Not Afraid.   April is a big month for birthdays and so I ordered 2 CDs for 2 of my friends.  I gave my children this CD as a Mother's Day gift idea for myself since I've given them all away.  So, if they don't come through, you'll see another order from me.

You have a beautiful voice and I'm so glad I discovered this CD.  Thanks!

Kitty, I believe I heard an interview of you a long time ago on Relevant Radio.  It was a beautiful story of your father and Divine Mercy.  It really touched me.  When I was recently looking for a nice gift for my mother, I thought of your music.

A friend heard your testimony on the radio and was so moved she wanted to know more about you.  In her search she found your cd, BE NOT AFRAID.  She subsequently gave one to me as a gift.  I loved it so much, I ordered two more also to give as gifts.  Thank you for your ministry.  Your music takes us to the cross and to the throne.  All glory to God, indeed!

Hey, Kitty–Listening to your music while I work…peaceful and soothing.

Kitty; Because I love your CDs so much, I was thinking that maybe (at some point-in-time) the Holy Spirit might guide you to write songs for the Adoration Chapel (I download my music to my iPod).  I use your Divine Mercy CD, your Rosary CD, and others (such as the music / songs from the choir of the Basilica of The Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC), but was thinking along the lines of more prayers and songs (from you — sorry I LOVE your CDs so much) to use while in the Adoration Chapel.

Sometimes I just need to deviate from the traditional means (Rosary, especially) because it is difficult to focus after so many times.  I have been searching for a CD with prayers such as those found on the back of Holy Cards  (particularly St. Anthony, St. Jude, Guardian Angel, etc.) but to no avail.  Carrying the Holy Cards is no problem, but, again, I LOVE  your CDs and would cherish another with prayers or songs of prayers to the saints, Holy Spirit, angels, etc.  Prayers/songs with petitions AND thanksgivings.  You can even make another CD with only Novenas.  When it comes to the part (in the prayers) where  you make your "intention(s)" or "thanksgiving" perhaps you can rearrange the prayers to say "for those intentions we ask of you at the end of this prayer/song" or "in thanksgiving for that of which we specify in thought(s), word(s), or meditation at the end of this prayer/song."  This sounds a bit strange but hopefully I convey the idea.

Then  you can make another CD with whatever the Vatican declares as the theme for the year.    You do not need to keep pace with the themes for the years but they could be inspirations for you. Another CD with Adoration songs and reflections.  "Could you not keep one hour with me?"  I can jot some thoughts down for you as there is much material to cover while in the Adoration Chapel.  (No pressure, though.)

Ms. Cleveland,

I saw you several years ago on EWTN, was very moved by your voice, and purchased a CD (Sacred Arias ) then (I also bought a copy for my mother!).  Last night I looked at your website and was really excited when I found out that you had recorded a CD of Gregorian chant — I am in a small women's schola in Winston-Salem, NC and we have spent the last year learning as much as we can about Gregorian chant to sing (about once a month) at the traditional Latin Mass here.  I am looking forward to receiving the CD — I am very familiar with some of the chants on it and not so familiar with others.

You have a magnificent voice.  I will be happy to let as many people as possible know about your work.

God bless you, Rosemary

Kitty, Thank you. You have the voice of an angel.  We saw many people with actual tears in their eyes as you blessed us with your voice, truly a gift from God. You added the spiritual touch to the evening as only you can do.

Thank you so very much.

Hello, Kitty! My sisters and I are putting together a website for Catholic girls. We are almost finished with it (www.saintmariasmessenger.com). We would like to put a music player on our website so girls can listen to good Catholic music while viewing our website. Would it be possible for us to put a few of your songs on our online music player? Please let us know as soon as possible! Thank you so much!

Bernadette, Rebekah, and Catherine Fox

Hi, Girls–What a great initiative!  Yes, you're welcome to stream my music.  I'd really appreciate it if you could provide a link to my website letting them know where they can buy the CDs. God bless you and your new apostolate! In Christ, Kitty

Kitty, I heard your testimony on the radio and was so moved that I wanted to know more about you.  In my search online, I found your cds here and ordered them.  Thanks!

Dear Kitty,

O Holy Night is my all-time favorite Christmas carol. I came across your CD, O Holy Night on the website of Dr.Marcelino D'Ambrosio, The Crossroads Initiative. Once I heard your beautiful voice I visited your website. I am pretty certain I now have all your CDs: you are blessed by God with a beautiful, angelic voice. Thank you for sharing this gift with others.

God bless you and your family; your daughter is darling. Please continue to share your gift. And since I have your CD, Be Not Afraid, I will share the new one with someone else. Be Not Afaid and You Are Mine are two contemporary songs that are also favorites of mine.  Your generosity is appreciated.

Sincerely, Clarisse

Dear Kitty,

I am an Australian and I really like your inspirational work. I'm just wondering if there is anywhere that I can buy your CD's here in Oz. Also, do you think that you might ever tour in Australia if there was an opportunity? I mean I guess that I could buy it online, but it would be good to have it on the shelves in Australia.

God Bless,

Kitty, I have been praying for you.  Keep up the great work singing…. you have been given a amazing gift…. maybe to awaken a lot of Catholics that are alseep at the wheel?

If Jesus had not pusued me I would be dead right now, very likely….faith is all that is worth living for.  He is what it is all about.

What you say is so full of truth and deep meaning…. put together in such a wonderful way.  Again, keep up what you are doing, and thanks be to God for your great gift. The Church needs that nourishment! My wife enjoys your singing, too.  My two little boys sometimes fall asleep to your cd.  It is what the world needs or will need very very soon.

If I can be of any assistance please let me know. The western world must find its way back to its foundation of faith, maybe you are part of that plan?  When people have nothing left they must repent, change their lives and depend on Jesus to provide…..doing their best.

Blessings, Chris.

Chris

Dear Kitty, I have greatly enjoyed your disc from Lighthouse Catholic Media!  I believe God has done and is doing amazing things in your life for his glory!

I must say my favorite song is God Will Provide…. It speaks volumes on faith and trust.  Your music is very healing and easy to listen to.  The message of God will provide needs to be blasted across the nation!  People really need to hear that message.

It encourages, heals and builds up faith in my heart as I sing it and listen to it every time.  We all can use those meaningful words.  It is a war on faith in the world, and you bring ammunition for the cause of Christ, safeguarding people's souls with your song theology which translates into changed actions.

"We believe God will provide"  He has, he does, he will…. the implications of this are world-changing and life-changing. Trust, love, no fear. He will provide if we love and follow him. What more do people need in this time of economic and financial crisis ? This message is desperately needed in these times…Desperately!  It is one important way to reach people that have gone by the wayside and save our nation.

Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of heavenly light–it does not cast any shifting shadows. Your music has been a perfect gift for me and my family! Keep it up–it is glorifying and liberating, I am sure the enemy of God does not like it. Your music can reach hearts nothing else can…….I say all of this as a brother in faith.

I cannot help but think a tour across the USA and canada with you, Scott Hahn, Tim staples and a few others would be an aweome thing?  You would blow the doors off of anything anyone has done since, and it could truly be a very powerful way to save the western world….(to break people out of their shells into the wonderous charismatic living Catholic faith that Scott Hahn talks of).

God has a plan–I think he is using you in a mighty way.  Listen to him, not me…. I do believe strongly that your music gift is so very powerful.  We are a nation that has gone away from faith and needs to return. You have hit on something that is not being filled imho….

Best, Chris.

Dear Kitty, I've been a music minister for some 30 years, or more. In that time, I've never been touched more by anyone's music or testimony than yours. Jesus, through you, has made me strive to be a better music minister, Christian and Catholic.

I've shared your testimony (given years ago at Magnificat) with so many people, I have it memorized. You now have a fan-base in South Texas, and your CDs are a hit.  I've just moved back to Mandeville and hope to have the pleasure of listening to you again on Dec. 10.

Best wishes to you and yours. Thank you for your sharing.

Kitty, I lost a close cousin unexpectedly last week. His funeral is this morning in Buffalo, and I was not able to attend. Needless to say I am heartbroken.

I'm listening to Be Not Afraid as I type and receiving much comfort from it. Thank you for your wonderful music. It truly touches and transforms.

All my best,
Rick
