Dear Kitty,

My wife and I met you a few years ago. Still have a  picture we took with you. I am on a men's Catholic ACTS retreat team for a retreat in Mystic, CT June 2-5th and I am giving one of the main talks called Adoration. I would like very much to play "Now You Come to Me" at the very end of my half hour talk, as I think the words and deep sincerity of your voice will help the men in their understanding that Jesus will come to them.

I would like to give the men the lyrics on paper to read along as they listen but can't find them anywhere.

Thank you. God bless.

Dear David,

Thanks for your note!  I'll email the lyrics to you.  My favorite song about the Eucharist is called "In the Breaking of the Bread," and it's on my CD The Miracle of Divine Mercy.  You can listen to it and watch a video someone put together on my website homepage.  It’s also on youtube, so if you have access to the internet, you could play it for them.  I’ll attach the lyrics to that song, as well.

God bless you and the men on your retreat!

I was thinking about my favorite hymns, searched for them in the MS Zune marketplace, and found you. You absolutely have done the most beautiful renditions of "Be Not Afraid" and "You Are Near" that I have ever heard.  Would love to hear you sing "I Am the Bread of Life."

Corinna Sibiski

Kitty, I first heard you sing that beautiful song, "Now You Come to Me," for Pope John Paul II on EWTN. Wow, how that touched my heart. It was so beautiful and fitting for our beloved Pope. I have since downloaded the song and others you sing on your Be Not Afraid CD. Wow, I'm so blessed to have found you. Your songs enrich my spiritual journey as I love Christian music! Keep doing what you do best! God Bless You!

Michael Flook

Dear Kitty,

I was very impressed to hear you singing on EWTN the song which had the words "Jesus my Lord my God my all" in it. Could you let me know how I could get a recording of it ?

God bless,

Canon Michael Flook, R.C. Dean of Swansea, Wales G.B.

Dear Rev. Canon Flook,

Happy Easter!  That song is called "Now You Come to Me," and I wrote it in our parish Adoration Chapel the night that Blessed John Paul II died.  The lyrics were inspired by his last words ("I have looked for you, and now you come to me.")

That song can be found on my CD Be Not Afraid, which is available for U.S. orders on this website and for international orders at http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/KittyCleveland.  You can also download it on itunes.

I recorded my chant CD in Sterling and lived in Edinburgh, but I'm sad to say that I've never made it to Wales!  Years ago someone told me that my last name is Welsh in origin, and that they were land purveyors (Cleave-land).  I hear it's quite lovely and hope to make it one day!

God bless you,

Kitty Cleveland (Cleave-land)

I'm your newest biggest fan. Love your voice and I can't wait until your CD "Be Not Afraid" arrives.

Hi Kitty,

I just heard you for the first time last night. I awoke in front of my TV to a special on Pope John Paul and your song was playing during the closing credits. I had to back it up (thank goodness for DVR) so that I could hear it again and again. The song was "Now Come To Me". I read in a bio that it was written as a tribute to our late Pope who is soon to be beatified. The song had to be inspired by the Holy Spirit and your voice a gift from God.

I bought the CD. It's one of those must have CD's and it's also the first Christian CD I've ever purchased. I'm moved by the Holy Spirit and by you.

God Bless, Robin

Thank you, Robin.  God is good!!  Can you tell me what station you were watching?  I was wondering why a bunch of CD orders came in yesterday, and you have now solved the mystery. 🙂

Happy Easter!

Kitty,

Love the website!  Just to let you know . . .You are SUCH an inspiration to ALL!!! People who hear your CDs in my car end up taking MINE – so I buy them in bulk now!

From the very first time I listened to your CD I knew you were filled with the Holy Spirit!  I purchased the first one at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC on Divine Mercy Sunday – VERY POWERFUL!!!

I do not let a day go by without listening to you in my car–the day just would not be the same. Your voice, your songs, your ministry have touched thousands. Prayers for you and your family (especially your late father).

God Bless! Vicky

Hi Kitty

I love your CD "Be not afraid" which I came across on an on-line music site and immediatley bought if from Amazon. I play in the car on my way to work and it helps me to start the day right.

I was playing it on the way to one of our Choir concerts last week and my two lady passangers both loved it but had never heard of you over here in the UK. It put us all in the right mode to sing God's praises and preach his gospel.

I  wondered if you have released the words and backing tracks for these songs,  we would love to share them in our concerts to help encourage the believers over here.

God bless you

Alan

Dear Kitty,

I realy love your music.  You came lsat year on April 10, 2010, to sing for my nephew's wedding (MATTHEW and TARA HERNANDEZ). It was a BLESSING to have you sing at the wedding, and it was also BLESSING to have met you. Being from Texas I really did not know about you until, my sister and brother-in-law got me started on your music. SONIA HERNANDEZ is my sister!

Please  let me know when you are in Texas, so I can make plans to come and see you. BLESSINGS!  Laura Y. Luera

Peace to you, my spiritual sister!

I have listened to one of your 'talks' many times and I have been 'taken in' by your honest, human and loving talk about your journey with Christ.

We all share a 'kinship' for even though the journeys are different in specific context, it is also always inspiring and heartening.

One point I wanted to share, and was surprised about the first time I heard you talk of it…was when you had your 'encounter' with Chirst's love under a beautiful oak tree, with the carving of your initials and His.  I too have had a similar experience…..an oak tree, He is holding me, with tremendous love being shared (not physical, more, so much more)…the roots of the tree all around us, and Him trying to 'convince' me of His continual love.  So you can imagine my pleasant surprise when you shared a similar situation!

Thank you the sharing of yourself, your journey of living in His love and your beautiful voice…..Our Lord and Lady's peace to you, Connie

Hi Kiity,  I was coming out of our adoration chapel one night and I looked over on the lost and found table.  Fr. also has items to give, and I saw a single CD from Lighthouse called "God Will Provide" by Kitty Cleveland. Having my life in turmoil with a business stricken with financial problems continually, I am always on my knees in the chapel asking God to show me his will–I am always looking for His sign.

I took the cd home and have listened to it every night this last week before I go to sleep. I also took it in my vehicle to listen to again. Your message is so inspiring to me and your songs are so beautiful. I feel like I can reach up and touch the Lord.

Thank you for giving me faith to continue to wait for God's message. I know all is in His timing, not ours.

I will always be a fan of yours and looking for a time, hopefully, when you get close to North Dakota so I can attend one of your live concerts.

God Bless you,  Jan Altendorf

Anne

Kitty,

I came across your CD “Be Not Afraid” at Pauline’s Christian Bookstore in Metairie.  The Sisters did not have a demo available so I just trusted the Sister's word that your music was very nice, classical and you were a local artist.  I have been looking for an Inspirational Catholic CD with songs/prayers for so long.  This CD is exactly what I was looking for.

I wanted to know if you are doing any local retreats any time soon.  I plan to get the book Amazing Grace for Those Who Suffer.  I am interested in the story about your Dad.  I have been though some tough times myself and trying to help those I can help.

Thanks, Anne

Dear Anne,

Thanks for your email  :-).  That was so kind of the Sisters—I need to send them another demo.  As to retreats, I have two events.  The first is a Lenten reflection at Archbishop Chapelle high school on April 6th at 6:30 pm.  I think it’s for alums, but you can always just give them a call to see if you can come.

Secondly, I’m doing a Holy Hour concert with meditations and adoration on April 18th at Our Lady of the Lake church in Mandeville (with Fr. John Talamo).  We start at 7 pm.  If you come to either event, please come introduce yourself!

God bless you,  Kitty

Kitty,

There are no words to explain how it feels when I listen to you sing in your CD's.   I tried, after reading what your fans write, to find other words to express my heart, but I'm left with my mouth open.

Let me try:  It's like it takes me to another level.  While listening to you sing, it's like I feel his presence.  He is there.  It's almost like I can touch him.  Well, it's pretty overwhelming, in an undescribable peaceful way.

I saw on your website that you will be at Our Lady of Catholic Church on April 18.  I got it marked on my calender and can't wait.

Do you have plans to visit St John of the Cross in Lacombe?

I'm very thankful to have met you in person and hope to always be connected.

I mean this with all my heart,

In Christ Love,

Nolie

PS  Thank you for recommending Be Not Afraid CD.  Kitty, it's like my earth father who is now in heaven is talking to me through you.

I play your cd's every year at this time.  Just listened to the Be Not Afraid cd for about the 5th time in a row.  Can not begin to tell you the influence you have on me.

The Towles

Hi Kitty,

I just listened to your CD from LIghthouse Catholic Media, God Will Provide. Thank you so very much for sharing your testimony, you are a gifted singer! Our 3 year old says mommmy I wanna hear that Jesus Christ song again (Now you come to me)!  I've listened to your CD twice now, crying off and on yet I'm finding it very encouraging! I can really relate a little too well to the Lord calling you to surrender to him, forgetting His consolations and your lack of discpline in your prayer life…help!!!

Over the last 5 years or so while being in the dessert the Lord has sent my husband and I over 30 songs (between homework and potty training) which we hope to record someday soon. Eight of these songs are pro-life songs which we currently play at our local March For Life. I too hear the call to return to daily mass, rosary, monthly confession and weekly adoration. Answering the call to be a music missionary or to the apostulate seems an impossibility while raising our children, yet…everything is possible with God!

Please pray for us that the Lord's will be done in our lives. Thank you for answering His call! We'd love to hear from you if you have a moment!

In Christ, The Towles

Ktty,

I met you last June  at Immaculee's retreat in New Orleans.  I bought several of your CDs while there and fell in love with "Surrender".

I am the Director of Religious Education for St. Bartholomew Parish in Elberta AL.  I would like to purchase 10 "Surrender" CDs and one "Sacred Arias" for my religious education teachers as a gift…

Regards,

Gabriella Danley
