Ceci’s Sacrifice Beads Now Available!

Ceci’s sacrifice beads, whether worn as a bracelet or just a string of beads kept discreetly in a pocket, help saints-in-the-making add small acts of love to their prayer life. Men and women of all ages can benefit from the practice of making little sacrifices throughout the day using their “good-deed beads.” Whether leaving a bite on one’s plate, giving up a sugary treat, or doing some corporal act of mercy (visiting the sick or lonely, making food for someone in need, or even making the bed!), each sacrifice offered up out of love super-charges one’s prayers and cultivates virtue. Just slide a bead with each sacrifice, making it a goal to slide all 10 beads by the end of the day. The decade of beads is designed to hold your place with a small gap.

Details: Each set is personally made by Ceci of lustrous 9 mm Czech glass beads (12 colors available!) and finished off with a 4-way holy medal cross. The cross is 1″ tall and is made in Italy from oxidized nickel silver. It will come with a lobster clasp and an extension chain to be worn as a bracelet, but since each one is made to order, we can leave off the clasp for those who would prefer to keep them in a pocket. Just include a note with your order if you want us to leave off the clasp. The set of beads is packaged in an organza bag perfect for gift-giving and shipped to you for FREE! Given the custom nature of each item, please allow up to two weeks for shipping.

Ordering: Each set of beads is $25, s/h included. Ceci will be donating 10% of all proceeds to the North Shore Food Bank in Covington, LA. To purchase, you have two options: 1) our Etsy Shop (please click here to be taken to our Etsy shop) or 2) By Mail (please click here to download our PDF Order Form).

A Word of Encouragement from St. Faustina

When I look into the future,
I am frightened.
But why plunge into
the future?
Only the present moment
is precious to me,
As the future may never
enter my soul at all.
It is no longer in my power,
To change, correct or
add to the past;
For neither sages
nor prophets could do that.
And so, what the past
has embraced
I must entrust to God.
O present moment,
you belong to me,
whole and entire.
I desire to use you as best I can.
And although I am weak and small,
You grant me the grace of your omnipotence.
And so, trusting in Your mercy,
I walk through life like a little child,
Offering You each day this heart
Burning with love for Your greater glory.
St. Faustina (Diary 2)

NEW Book Study on Prayer Started Today–Join Us!

Do you want to pray but struggle to do so? If so, join me for our new LIVE book study, Time for God by Fr. Jacques Philippe. This is another small and practical but power-packed book that changes lives! Be sure to get your highlighters and journals ready. We started this morning and will continue to meet on weekday mornings from 7-7:30 am CT on Instagram (@kittycleveland).  I will be singing an opening song, reading from the book, and commenting on it for about 30 minutes a day, M-F, till we’re done. I’m hoping to finish before Advent begins and to then start Reed of God by Caryll Houselander.

When we’re finished each day, I’ll upload the video both to my Instagram channel and to my YouTube channel if you’d like to watch later in the day or share it with others.

You can purchase the book at your local Catholic bookstore or online at Scepter Publishing. Many thanks to Scepter for allowing me to read from the book. Finally, please share this with your friends so we can journey together!

Yours,

Ordering Rosaries Made from Blessed Roses

How blessed we were on October 7, 2020, when we came together–both in person and virtually–to formally consecrate ourselves to Jesus through Mary after doing the 54-day rosary novena and the online 33 Days to Morning Glory retreat. And, oh, the roses! What glory! I’m thrilled to tell you that we have chosen a special artisan to craft our “signature rosary” out of the blessed rose petals. It will feature pale pink Hail Mary beads with pearl Our Father beads, and it will have a beautiful nickel silver crucifix and center medallion (with a rose charm attached, as well). These are heirloom rosaries made to last.

Each rosary is $125 (tax and shipping included), and they will be sent to you in the order that payments are received.  You may order up to four rosaries.

To send payment:

  1. Venmo–The best way is to send your payment is via www.Venmo.com (or the Venmo app) to @Kitty-Cleveland.
  2. Check–You can mail a check payable to Christiaria, LLC at PO Box 843, Madisonville, LA 70447.

No matter how you send payment, please include your mailing AND email address! The first 50 should be going out in December and January. Some will be delivered into February if you are in the second batch of 50.

God bless and keep you! I love our little rosary family,

Kitty’s Big Plans for October 7, 2020

Hey, Friends! I had the idea during this morning’s LIVE video to do something special on October 7, 2020, Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary and Our Lady of Victory, the last day of our 54-day rosary novena, and our consecration day at the end of our 33 Days to Morning Glory retreat.  Here’s the plan:

8:30 am CT Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church in Covington, LA  (be sure to get there early if you want a seat!). You can also watch the live-stream on their YouTube channel!

9:00 am CT Gathering in front of the Blessed Mother statue on the right side of the altar to pray our consecration together (I will be live-streaming the event on my YouTube channel).

9:30 am CT Head over to Benedict’s Plantation in Mandeville for the Magnificat breakfast with speaker Jodi Awbrey (tickets no longer being sold as of 10/2/20).

7:00 pm CT Kitty’s YouTube Concert to celebrate our Big Day. I will also be drawing that night for all of the prizes I am giving away to Sounds of Peace donors (See “It’s GIVE-AWAY time!”), including my pastel painting of the roses!

This will be so fun! If you would like to make a donation for the fresh roses that we will put around Our Lady for our consecration day and the end of our 54-day rosary novena, you have three options:

  1. Venmo (www.venmo.com, to @kitty-cleveland) or
  2. Pay Pal (www.paypal.com, to orders@kittycleveland.com) or
  3. Check (payable to Christiaria, LLC, PO Box 843, Madisonville, LA 70447).

Be sure to send me a note that it’s for the roses and/or make it a number NOT divisible by $25 (so I don’t get it confused with Sounds of Peace donations). I’m excited! This will be so special.

Love, Kitty
